English 4, Post 4, Movies based on book or the book?

Hello! Today I come to talk to you about a topic that generates a lot of controversy for me, as the title says: Movies based on books or the book? I am a person who loves to read, for me a day without reading, even if it is 20 pages of a book that I love, and it is not one of the many college books, generates a tremendous frustration, especially when the university does not let me. So when movies come out about a book I read or plan to read, it makes me intrigued. Because there are movies in which I have loved the adaptation to the world of cinema, but there are others that make me somewhat angry. It happened to me a lot with After, a teen movie that came out not long ago and caused a furor in people who had not read the books, but in the book blogs the movies were brutally slaughtered, starting with the complete lack of similarity between the protagonist of the book and the protagonist of the movie, I understand that reality is not similar to fiction, but, even if the tattoos of the protagonist are made up in a good way. What made the protagonist of the book distinguishable were his tattoos, and the one in the movie had only 1. Unbelievable. 

I won't kill all the movies based on books, Shadowhunters: City of Bones was a filming very similar to the book, there were situations that were not in the book but, from my point of view, made the movie much more striking and interesting to the public, so I can only say that, although there are movies that are similar to the book and sometimes are very interesting, I'll stay a thousand times with the book.
