English 4, Post 3, Biochemistry in the world

Hello, today I am here to talk about Biochemistry, my career. What is Biochemistry? It is the science whose interest is to discover and study the animal and plant kingdom and living matter, from a chemical-biological point of view. What do people know about biochemistry? From my experience, absolutely nothing, every time I talk to someone and they ask me about my career they only mention pharmaceutical chemists or Dr. Simi's pharmacy, simply humiliating. I don't consider those careers minor, but it is disappointing that people don't know about other types of careers other than medicine, law or engineering. 

During the pandemic, with the COVID-19 issue it became more famous and now some people associate biochemists with people who make vaccines, which is moderately correct as we do a lot more than just look at vaccines. Biochemistry is a super broad career, I can practice both in the mines and in a hospital, it all depends on what I liked, that's why it was the career I chose. I think it's frustrating to stay in only one option when there can be several, I won't lie saying that there are subjects that I don't like, but I compensate it with others that are more entertaining, but in which I sometimes do badly anyway :D.
